With summer looming ever closer we start to think of picnics, entertaining and fabulous food in general. Baguettes own a top spot on the summer menu for most Kiwis – why not give this delicious option a whirl. You may never look back!!

 

Use either a box of Walnut and Pumpkin Seed or Sesame and Linseed bread mix.

  1. Prepare mix as per instructions on the box and leave to sit for at least an hour – the longer the better. You can prepare in the morning or the night before and leave to sit at room temperature until needed.

2. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and prepare a baking tray.

3. Split mix into two equal lots. Form the dough into a baguette shape and place on baking tray – repeat with remaining mix.

4. Bake in preheated oven for 40mins and store in an airtight container for up to 3 or 4 days or freeze for later use.
